The second edition of the Microsoft Corporate Challenge will be held here from Aug 31.
Based on a successful international format, the four-day challenge is the only nationally televised inter-corporate competition involving corporates from across IT, manufacturing, Banking, and Financial Services industries.
It has been conceptualised and organised by Sports Media and DNA Networks for India. The first edition of the challenge was held in Goa last year.
This year, each team will consist of seven members, including two women and a senior executive. The teams would undergo a combination of physical, mental and emotional challenges for three days, the organisers said in a press release here.
The teams would be involved in a variety of challenges from cycling, rowing, running to deciphering codes and strategy games. Designed in the form of a race, the teams, which best plans, strategize and work together will be the ones that survive the challenge, the release said.
Motorola, JM Morgan Stanley, Infosys, Microsoft, Barclays Bank, Ashok Leylan, Thomson International are among the 25 corporates participating.
ICICI Bank was the champion last year
